Jackson Dean revealed which country artist has made him feel the most starstruck — and he didn’t even meet her.
Dean remembered attending the CMA Awards, where he saw Reba McEntire on the red carpet. The “Don’t Come Lookin’” singer recalled, in a statement shared by his record label: “I didn’t get to meet her but I was a little starstruck and a little nervous. When we were walking out of the red carpet, Reba was right in front of me. She looked absolutely stunning. She was, I believe she was in blue and God, I was just like, I can’t even… I can’t even go say nothin’ at all. You know, that’s Reba walkin’ in front of me. That is ‘Fancy’ right there.”
Dean is getting ready to join two fan-favorite country stars on tour. He and Carly Pearce are set to join Blake Shelton on the “No Body” singer’s headlining tour, kicking off on February 16 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
“There’s nothing like getting out on the road and taking music to the fans,” Shelton previously said in a statement. “I feel just as excited to step on stage and perform as I did the very first time. I know my tour mates Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean feel the same, and I can’t wait for y’all to get to know them better. Break out the hats and boots, ‘cause we’re going back to the honky tonk!”
