Parker McCollum is taking a moment to reflect on what he deemed “the craziest year of my entire life.” The country singer-songwriter, hailing from the Houston, Texas area, shared a sentimental message on Instagram on Sunday night (November 6), looking back at the previous year as he ended his latest tour.

“We sold out The Houston Rodeo, won some awards, played Chiefs Stadium with George Strait, and I married the girl of my dreams. AND SO MUCH MORE,” McCollum wrote in his heartfelt caption, which also included a nod to the Houston Astros following the 2022 World Series victory. “I really don’t know how to say thank you for being such a huge part of catching the dreams I been chasing. One last flight home tonight and when I walk in the door of my house, I know I gave it everything I had every single night this year. Sold out show after sold out show across the country, the best fans in the world sang every single damn word to every single song. I love country music man. And I’m grateful that it loves me back. New music and a new tour comin up next year! I’m headed to the deer stand! Mad Love!”

McCollum’s wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, gushed that she “couldn’t be more proud” of him. She wrote in a comment that he’s “the most hard working while also being the greatest husband out there. I love you so much! Now come home to me 🤍” The couple married earlier this year in a gorgeous ceremony Texas.

McCollum recently announced that he’s “so stoked” to launch his headlining tour next year. He’ll start the nationwide trek on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio, stopping in Minnesota, Missouri, Florida, Texas and other destinations throughout the tour. It ends on Friday, April 14, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Find the list of tour dates here.
