Keith Urban is making a comeback in Las Vegas “with a brand new show” after he wrapped up his high-energy residency earlier this year. The country singer-songwriter announced on Monday morning (November 7) that he’s returning for a new 16-show headlining run at Zappos Theater, located at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The global superstar previously played a successful residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, which kicked off in September of 2021 and spanned into the spring of 2022. The venue described Urban as “one of the world's most electrifying live performers in music today.”
Urban told Billboard that Zappos Theater is “still in the family” of the Caesars corporation, which concludes the Colosseum. However, Zappos Theater allows for slightly more seating (about 4,600, compared to 4,100), and Urban said it “felt a little more geared towards the kind of energy that I was trying to create at the Colosseum,” he said in a Q&A with the outlet.
The “Blue Ain't Your Color” singer introduced his wife, award-winning actress Nicole Kidman (who called herself “Nicole Urban” into the mic), to the stage as his residency came to a close in May. Since then, Urban has been traveling the country on his headlining “The Speed Of Now Tour,” which included “Wishful Drinking” singer Ingrid Andress, and added “5 Foot 9” artist Tyler Hubbard in September. Urban's next residency kicks off on March 3, 2023 and spans through July 1, 2023, according to performance dates listed on his website. Watch Urban’s new Las Vegas residency announcement here:
