Luke Bryan dropped a big “SURPRISE” for fans on Friday morning (November 4) . The award-winning country giant kicked off the weekend with a brand new song: “My boots back on the ground, my head back right. You got your ways of getting through, I got mine. I do my [‘Prayin’ In A Deer Stand’].”

Bryan teamed up with Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins to write the song, which is his second track to release from his latest batch of new music. “Prayin’ In A Deer Stand” follows Bryan’s smash-hit single, “Country On.”

“This is such a personal song to me,” Bryan shared in a statement on Friday. “The world can be a busy place and I like a lot of people have a ton of different things going on but getting to be outside, it grounds and reenergizes me. There is just something about it that never gets old.”

Bryan debuted the new track days before he’s set to host the 56th annual CMA Awards with NFL star Peyton Manning from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The new song also comes as the country hitmaker is gearing up for the final weekend of his “Raised Up Right Tour,” performing three rescheduled shows in Florida, with Riley Green and Mitchell Tenpenny.

Bryan’s “Country On” released over the summer, serving as an anthem that “uplifts the hardworking American people out there, and it brings a lot of unity,” he said at the time. He later premiered a music video that featured a few officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department. “It just has feel-good vibes all the way around it and anytime you can reference country music fans in a song, and you can really make it feel natural, it’s great. And this song does just that.”
