One day after announcing the release date of his sophomore album, HARDY revealed his upcoming tour dates on his social media channels. The award-winning singer-songwriter is kicking off “The Mockingbird & The Crow Tour” in mid-February, bringing Jameson Rodgers and Blame My Youth along on the 16-date trek.
HARDY announced on Monday (October 10) that he would release his country-rock album, The Mockingbird & The Crow, on January 20, 2023. He also dropped three of the tracks on the upcoming album to mark the occasion: “Here Lies Country Music,” “Truck Bed” and “The Mockingbird & The Crow.” The album’s track list shows that the project will include a collaboration with Morgan Wallen and HARDY’s previously-released duet with Lainey Wilson, “Wait In The Truck.”
The album and tour announcements come shortly after HARDY and his crew were involved in an accident on their tour bus. He explained that he and his crew were “on the upswing” as they continue to recover from “significant injuries.” Although HARDY wondered whether he should delay his announcements, “I’ve talked to everybody and everybody’s like, ‘man, let’s keep the train rolling.’”
Blame My Youth and Rodgers also posted the upcoming tour dates, saying that they’re “PSYCHED” to hit the road. Ticket sales begin Friday (October 14).
“I’m incredibly grateful to be able to bring this record to you next year. Touring it is something I’ve been thinking about since we started the recording process,” HARDY said in a statement. “This album is my best work so far. I truly believe that, and I want this tour to reflect that every night. Excited to have my buddies Blame My Youth and Jameson out with me; it’s going to be crazy.”
