Carrie Underwood went out for a run on Wednesday morning (September 14) — and Mike Fisher couldn’t resist pranking her. As the “Denim & Rhinestones” superstar jogged down the trail, her husband drove up behind her quietly. He can be heard saying “let’s see if we can get her” as he drives behind her and, when he gets close, loudly honks the horn.
Underwood looks back and waves him off, then slowly jogs backwards in the middle of the path. Fisher laughs as she gets in his way, and wrote in his caption: “Not my best work but still had a good laugh!” (Underwood, on the other hand, shared on her Instagram story that her 5.81-mile run was powered by Nothing More).
Fisher’s Instagram followers couldn’t help but laugh along in the comments. Nutritionist Cara Clark — who joined Underwood’s “fit52 fam” and contributed to her health and wellness book, Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit 52 Life — wrote: “Haha you don’t phase her anymore..but now she gonna be like a goose and never move.”
Pranks aside, Underwood knows that she and Fisher are “such a great team.” They tied the knot in July 2010, and they’ve welcomed two sons — Isaiah, 7, and Jacob, 3 — in their 12 years of marriage. Earlier this year, Underwood spoke about what Fisher is like as a dad to their two boys, saying he’s “just a great guy all around.”
