Blake Shelton is a country music superstar, a coach on the smash-hit NBC singing competition The Voice, and now, he’s a fashion designer. The “No Body” artist teamed up with Lands’ End to unveil a clothing collection that’s full of jeans, sweaters, flannels and more.
Shelton acknowledged that he doesn’t consider himself to be a “fashion icon,” but he’s always a fan of comfortable clothing. He said in a recent interview with Men’s Health that when it comes to comfort, that’s “something I think we can all relate to.”
He also revealed which items he’d wear on a date night with his wife, powerhouse artist and fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani: “We made clothes you’ll know are keepers the second you put them on. For date night with Gwen, I’m grabbing a button-down shirt with our ‘On Stage’ jeans. You’ll look and feel like a million bucks but still be comfortable.” Shelton also said in the Men’s Health interview: “Gwen has such an eye for fashion but also knows what’s authentic to me. Both of us also really love that a portion of proceeds from the new line go towards Habitat for Humanity.”
Shelton announced his Lands’ End collection earlier this month, pledging that the clothes will “fit pretty awesome into your world.” He shared a photo on social media this week getting “a little reading in…” Fittingly, it was a Lands’ End catalog. See Shelton’s collaboration announcement here:
