Walker Hayes and his wife Laney renewed their wedding vows in an adorable moment they shared on Instagram. One of the couple’s daughters — nicknamed “pastor Gooey” in the post — officiated the pretend ceremony. It was held in a kitchen as the superstar groom donned jeans and a camouflage-like shirt with a backwards baseball cap, and the bride wore gym shorts and a t-shirt with her veil and flowers.
“With help of pastor Gooey we renewed our vows this evening,” Hayes captioned the video with “Gooey,” shared over the weekend on Instagram. The “That Dog’ll Hunt” singer’s fans and social media followers gushed over the adorable moment, including songwriter Shane McAnally: “‘ROMANTIC!’ her little voice.” Others said: “This is so precious. Thank you for sharing your sweet family with us!,” “Too cute!,” “I LOVE Laney's wedding attire! That is my whole vibe these days!,” and “You guys get the cutest couple award today,” to name a few. Hayes and Laney tied the knot for real in 2004. They celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Since then, they’ve welcomed a big family and have even brought their kids on tour. Hayes previously took to social media with a brief video to give fans a virtual tour of his tour bus, including spots where the kids work on their schoolwork and where the family has dinner together. The bus included a collage of “some family photos just to keep it wholesome (and) family-rific.”
