Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion teamed up for a new collaboration that’s set to drop on Friday (August 26). Chesney and the “I Was On A Boat That Day” band have been traveling the country together on Chesney’s “Here And Now” Tour over the summer, heading out on the nationwide trek with Dan + Shay and Carly Pearce in the lineup.

“Before the [‘Here And Now’ Tour] is over, we wanted to give everyone something to remember it by,” Chesney announced on his social media channels on Thursday morning (August 25). “[‘Beer With My Friends’] is a song that we can all sing wherever we are & know there’s nothing like these moments we’ve shared. Out tonight at midnight.”

Old Dominion retweeted the announcement, writing: “Two things we love: Beer and our friend [Kenny Chesney]. Put 'em together and you get a damn good song. [‘Beer With My Friends’] out tonight.”

The collaboration comes shortly after Old Dominion surprised the crowd at a pop-up show, bringing Chesney out to perform during their set. Old Dominion, having played pop-up shows the night before the “Here And Now” concert throughout the tour, shared a clip of the surprising moment. They said that “surprising y’all at (the Old Dominion pop-up shows) never gets old… May have a few more surprises up our sleeves.”

Together, they sang “Save It For A Rainy Day,” one of 11 tracks on Chesney’s 2014 album, The Big Revival. The collection also included the title track, “Til It’s Gone,” “American Kids,” “Wild Child” with Grace Potter and other fan-favorites. Watch it here:
