The Academy of Country Music announced a star-studded lineup for its upcoming 15th Annual ACM Honors ceremony at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The must-see lineup will include, among others: Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, The Warren Brothers, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, ERNEST, Vince Gill, HARDY, Wynonna Judd, Avril Lavigne, Little Big Town, Carly Pearce, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson.
Reigning ACM Female Artist of the Year Carly Pearce is set to return as host of the event, marking her second consecutive year taking on the role. She was “humbled and excited” for last year’s opportunity, and said earlier this summer that it’s “a privilege to once again host this special night and celebrate those who are making profound impact on Country music.”
The 15th Annual ACM Honors will make its return to television with debut on FOX, set to air on Tuesday, September 13 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, according to an Academy of Country Music press release. Known as the Country Music industry’s favorite night,” the event will include a performance by ACM winner Trace Adkins, who stars in the upcoming FOX series Monarch. The show, which also stars Susan Sarandon and Anna Friel, will premiere on Sunday, September 11.
The ACM Honors will also recognize ACM Special Award honorees, which include Miranda Lambert, HARDY, Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton and many others who “have shaped Country Music in powerful ways and built phenomenal legacies…” See the full list here. “ACM Honors is truly a special and unique night as the entire Country Music community comes together to celebrate the achievements of artists, musicians, and industry executives that have made a positive impact on the industry during the prior year or over their careers,” Academy of Country Music CEO Damon Whiteside said in a previous statement. “Being the 15th anniversary of this event also makes it a night to remember some of the Academy’s pioneers who originally inspired these honors.”
Wallen will be performing at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival this September, and fans can tune in and watch live via an exclusive stream each night on September 23rd and 24th on The CW app and CWTV.com. The CW Network will also broadcast a two-night television special this October. Additionally, the festival will be broadcast live for fans via iHeartRadio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets, and on the iHeartRadio app. Find available tickets here.
