The family of the late country music superstar Naomi Judd was granted a court order this week that will keep her death records sealed.

The records depict Judd in a "graphic manner," Naomi's husband Larry Strickland and two daughters, Wynonna and Ashley wrote in the filing, according to NBC News. Police that responded to Judd's death in April have collected evidence that, if released, would cause "emotional distress, pain and mental anguish."

The filing added, "The release of these records would continue to cause the entire family pain for years to come."

Naomi Judd died April 30, her daughters confirmed. It was later revealed that the country star died by suicide.

The Judd family was granted a temporary order Tuesday (August 2), and a evidentiary hearing is scheduled for September 12.
