Jake Owen shared a heartfelt message on his social media channels on Thursday morning (July 28), and it’s giving his fans all the feels. The “1X1” singer explained that he started his day early with a morning workout and “feedin’ the flowers” when he felt inspired to share a sentimental message to others:
“What I’m trying to tell you guys this morning is, is that somebody out there loves you. And I know you love someone, too. And I’m a little sentimental and emotional this morning. My little girl, Pearl, is about to leave for the summer (and) go back to school, and I just want you all to know how much I love you, how much I appreciate you. …Call someone today. Tell them you love them. Everybody deserves to hear from someone how much they’re loved and appreciated. And I appreciate you guys and I love you, and I’m very grateful for this life I get to live thanks to all of y’all. …Be kind to people, tell them you love them, and it’s summertime, baby, get out there in the sunshine.”
Owen, who is in the midst of his nationwide “Up There Down Here Tour,” recently premiered a sentimental music video for his sweet song, “1x1.” Owen sings on the track: “There's a five by seven of us up on the wall/ And that smile on your face, yeah, it says it all/ There's a four by four sittin' out in the drive/ Rides a whole lot better with your hand in mine/ And this house ain't just some two by fours/ It's you by me on the back porch/ Watchin' the sun, woah oh/ Holdin' on tight, takin' these days and nights/ One by one”
