Kane Brown finally dropped the song he’s been teasing on his social media channels, and many of his fans will have it on repeat. The genre-bending artist released “Grand,” marking the latest track to debut from his upcoming album, Different Man:
“Ain’t life grand/ Only ones I keep around me is my fam/ No coincidence, it's always been the plan/ And I always keep it trilly with the fans/ Oh, ain’t life grand/ And I love a little whiskey in my hand/ Make it disappear then reappear again/ Matter fact I never want this life to end until the end”
“Grand” is the song that “y’all have been asking for,” Brown shared when he announced its release date earlier this month, saying, “LETS BLOW IT UP.” His latest release follows “Like I Love Country Music,” a toe-tapping honky tonk anthem inspired by ‘90s country and classic country artists (with nods to Willie Nelson, George Jones, Johnny Cash and other legends).
Both songs are included on the highly-anticipated 17-track collection, Different Man, which is set to release in September. Fans will also recognize “Leave You Alone,” “One Mississippi,” and “Whiskey Sour”on the track list.
During a recent (virtual) stop by The Bobby Bones Show, Brown shared details about his upcoming album, including that his wife, Katelyn, sings with him on one of the songs. Brown recently tweeted that he’s “excited for this album,” which is set to release on September 9. Listen to “Grand” here (and stay tuned for the music video, Brown announced).
