Kane Brown is not done hyping his long-awaited new album — but he’s not revealing any new details yet, either. The genre-bending country hitmaker drummed up anticipated for his new project on Tuesday (July 12), sharing, simply, in a tweet: “Excited for this album,” adding a fire emoji and red heart emoji at the end.
The tweet surged questions from fans needing to know more info about Brown's new music, specifically a release date. Dozens of comments poured in throughout the day, begging Brown to spill the tea: “Excited to hear a release date for this album…,” “I’m so ready to hear it!! But the waiting is eating me alive lol,” “So are we any idea when?,” and “Patiently waiting over here!,” to name a few. Unfortunately for excited fans,, there’s still no word yet as of publication time on Tuesday afternoon. Later, Brown also posed the question: “Who do y’all want me to bring on tour next year?”
Until then, fans can listen to Brown’s ’90s country-inspired “Like I Love Country Music,” which includes shout-outs to the genre’s legends (including Willie Nelson, George Jones, Johnny Cash and Brooks & Dunn, among others). Brown also chatted about his next project during a recent interview on The Bobby Bones Show, and announced plans to release a new song this month. Brown shared on his social media channels that “Grand” is set to drop on July 22: “LETS BLOW IT UP.”
