Carrie Underwood is reliving an epic moment during her Stagecoach performance with a must-see Flashback Friday video on (July 8). The award-winning country singer-songwriter belted her 2005 hit, “Before He Cheats,” rocking the iconic revenge anthem with shimmering fireworks lighting up the background.
Underwood headlined the festival on April 30, packing her performance with the biggest hits of her 17-year career. She also gave fans a sneak peek of some of the songs on her latest album Denim & Rhinestones, which hadn’t been released at the time of the Stagecoach set. The 12-track project aimed to deliver “throwback” songs in a “super fresh” way, inspired by the music Underwood listened to as she grew up in Oklahoma. The highly-anticipated collection includes “Ghost Story,” “Crazy Angels,” “Pink Champagne” and other fan-favorite tracks.
Another highlight of Underwood’s Stagecoach set was her surprise guest, Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses. Underwood deemed it the “Best. Night. Of. My. Life!!!,” thanking Rose for helping her see a “lifelong dream come true. You rocked that [Stagecoach] stage harder than anyone has ever rocked it before!”
The country powerhouse and legendary rockers reunited at the UK’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Guns N’ Roses performed and introduced Underwood on stage on July 1 and July 2. Underwood gushed on Instagram: “Never in a million years did I think I would get to spend not one but TWO nights of my life on stage with [Guns N’ Roses]! Thanks, again, to the band and crew and, of course, to the fantastic crowd! The energy was ⚡️⚡️⚡️!!! Until next time…”
