Zac Brown Band proved that Blake Shelton is the perfect addition to one of the eight-member band's songs. The group unleashed a remixed version of their adventurous anthem, “Out In The Middle.” The two artists teased the new version of the song earlier this month, and the collaboration was one that country music fans never knew they needed. Shelton wrote on Twitter when the song released on Wednesday (June 22) that if “y’all know what’s good for you,” listen to the latest version of “Out In The Middle.”

“Out in the middle where the hard work meets hard living/ Out in the middle where we're grown 'til we're gone, God willing/ Just some good old boys and good old girls/ Hunting red dirt dreams in a concrete world/ Getting by on just a little, out in the middle”

The new “Out In The Middle” featuring Shelton will be featured on the deluxe edition of Zac Brown Band's latest album, which is set to release this fall. Additional artists featured on the deluxe collection will be announced later this summer.

The original version of “Out In The Middle” is one of 15 tracks included on The Comeback, which released in October 2021. The whole project is one that frontman Zac Brown previously explained is a time for “rediscovering our roots and what makes us human.” Other fan-favorite tracks include “Slow Burn,” “Same Boat,” “GA Clay” and more. During an exclusive iHeartRadio Album Release Party, Brown called The Comeback “the best album that I’ve ever made, start to finish. All the guys, everybody on the team just killed it.”
