Carly Pearce is a lot like her dad in a way that’s possibly unexpected to some fans… Neither one of them cares much about what people think of them, particularly when it comes to appearance.
It might be hard to imagine, considering Pearce rocks tons of glamorous looks when she performs, walks a red carpet or poses for a photoshoot (or just about any other time!). But it turns out, the “What He Didn’t Do” artist has a “what you see is what you get” attitude. She explained of the personality trait she shares with her father, in a statement she previously shared by her record label:
“Oh gosh, maybe people wouldn’t think this about me, but I do have a tinge of the way that he just doesn’t really care what people think. He will wear his pajamas to the grocery store, but then in the next minute can totally look put together. So, I would say that just kind of what you see is what you get. You might see me fixed up and maybe not.”
Pearce is described as “extremely close” to both of her parents. The family-oriented singer has previously posted on her social media channels about her loved ones, including her sister, Cristy, who served in Kuwait as a captain in the National Guard. Pearce couldn’t contain her excitement when Cristy returned home safe in January 2022, gushing in an all-caps tweet: “I CAN’T WAIT TO HUG YOU.”
