Breland Finally Reveals His Debut Album Release Date: 'Let’s Goooo!!!'

Breland isn’t just celebrating his latest single’s release on Tuesday (June 14)… The beloved country music trailblazer assured fans there’s more new music where that came from when he excitedly announced that his debut album is set to drop in September.

The highly-anticipated collection, Cross Country, is a longtime coming. Breland shared on his social media channels that it’s more than two years in the making, and he finally got to announce a release date during an appearance on TODAY With Hoda & Jenna. Breland teased his album announcement on his social media channels on Monday (June 13), announcing that his new single, “Natural,” would release and that he “may have something else to tell you” on the show. He said on Instagram that he’s “been waiting on this since I was a kid,” and he’s “truly just so grateful lately.”

“The first video he ever posted of his song ‘My Truck’ went viral and became such a hit, it was used in a commercial which got more than 75 million views,” Hoda Kotb said as she introduced Breland on the show on Tuesday morning, urging viewers to remember his name.

Jenna Bush Hager added that Breland is also well-known for his collaborations with some of country’s biggest stars, including Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban.

“I never thought I was gonna be someone that popped off the internet, but sometimes that’s how it goes,” Breland told the show’s co-hosts, beaming with a smile, as he recalled his booming TikTok following.

“It’s gonna be a heater,” Breland wrote as he shared a fan’s excitement on his Instagram story. “I don’t wanna say too much but I can say I feel so strongly about this music.”

Breland’s latest single, “Natural” is described as a “magnetic” song that nods to Shania Twain’s iconic “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” Breland’s first single was “My Truck,” which later got a remixed version with Sam Hunt. Fans can also expect his debut album to include other singles like “Throw It Back” featuring Urban and “Praise The Lord” featuring Rhett, reads a press release. The upcoming album “takes its title from an autobiographical, acoustic-guitar-fueled track showcasing BRELAND’s intricately detailed storytelling and warm yet commanding voice. After first sharing “Cross Country” in February 2021, BRELAND returned the following month with a soul-stirring update featuring groundbreaking Country phenomenon Mickey Guyton.”
