Zac Brown Band is giving country music fans the collaboration they never knew they needed… The eight-member group announced a new version of “Out In The Middle” with Blake Shelton on their social media channels on Monday (June 13).
“Out In The Middle” is one of 15 tracks included on The Comeback, which released in October 2021. The whole project is one that frontman Zac Brown previously explained is a time for “rediscovering our roots and what makes us human.” Other fan-favorite tracks include “Slow Burn,” “Same Boat,” “GA Clay” and others. During an exclusive iHeartRadio Album Release Party, Brown called The Comeback “the best album that I’ve ever made, start to finish. All the guys, everybody on the team just killed it.” See the announcement here:
Shelton is no stranger to making country music that serves as a nod to the great outdoors and country roots. One of his latest, most popular songs is “Come Back As A Country Boy,” and Shelton said in a statement when he introduced it in 2021: “I think this song is an anthem for everyday hardworking country people out there. We have so much pride in who we are and what we do that, if we ever died and got the chance to live life over again, we probably wouldn’t do it if we couldn’t be country.”
