Tim McGraw has shared a few videos of the intense, high-energy workout routines that he does in order to stay in shape while he’s on the road (recruiting tour openers Brandon Davis and Russell Dickerson in the process). But is McGraw the fittest man in country music?
Earlier this year, a Men’s Health article suggested that Kane Brown could be the fittest man in the industry. The “Like I Love Country Music” singer credited former tour mate Granger Smith with inspiring him to exercise, telling the outlet at the time that Smith “was just so shredded,” and “I told them, from then on, ‘Just wait, I’m going to get ripped,’ and every day since then, I’ve started working out.”
McGraw — who committed to his health and fitness more than a decade ago and even wrote a book about it — thinks Brown has a fair shot at being the fittest man in country music, if he’s not there already. McGraw said, in a statement shared by his record label:
“Oh, I’m sure. He’s a lot younger than I am, so I’m sure he won’t have any problem with that. He’s actually sent me a message a couple of times when he started hammering it pretty hard, he says, ‘I’m comin’ after you, I’m comin’ after you!’ And I was like, ‘Come on brother, come on.’”
