Days away from his album release, Brett Eldredge shared new details of his upcoming project. Eldregde posted a photo of a hand-written notebook page that reveals the 12 songs that will appear on Songs About You, complete with a few doodles that the country artist included next to each title.
Some of Eldredge’s fans will undoubtedly recognize a few of the tracks that he’s released so far, including “Songs About You” and “I Feel Fine.” The upcoming collection also includes “Want That Back,” the nostalgic song that Eldredge released in January, hoping that listeners would find “some light in times of darkness.” He explained at the time that he wrote the song after waking up in the early-morning hours overwhelmed by the weight of the world and craving “the pure and simple parts of life that I miss.” Once the “powerful feeling” took hold and Eldredge was inspired, he couldn’t sleep until he wrote the chorus.
