Gabby Barrett’s family is growing!
The “Pick Me Up” singer made a joyous announcement on her social media channels, fittingly, on Mother’s Day (May 8). Barrett shared the sonogram as she introduced her son, celebrating: “Another LIFE we get to love and cherish. Happy Mothers Day!”
This marks Baby No. 2 for Barrett, 22, and her husband and fellow American Idol alum Cade Foehner, 25. Barrett and Foehner welcomed their first child on January 18, 2021. “Got to spend a very sweet week with our newest addition,” Barrett shared in a heartwarming Instagram post at the time, adding, “meet our girl… Baylah May Foehner.”
Barrett wrote in her daughter’s first birthday tribute earlier this year: “It’s not possible to explain in words the love a mother has for her child. But being a parent, has made me appreciate my mother and father a whole lot more for what they did for my siblings and I. I will defend and protect you always. My number one goal in this life does not have to do with singing/entertaining, but raising a God fearing Christian, who loves Christ more than her mom and dad could ever. Praise God for you my love, and for motherhood. Mama & Dada love you always.”
