Happy birthday to Jake Owen’s daughter, Paris!
The “Up There Down here” singer shared the sweetest birthday tribute to his now 3-year-old on Friday (April 29). Owen reflected that on Paris' second birthday, “in the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with our birthday girl Paris.” But today, “we have a healthy three-year-old beautiful daughter that melts me every day. I’m so thankful to be a father and even more thankful to raise little girls.”
Owen is in Canada on Paris' birthday, but he promised her that when he returns home, “we can eat a popsicle. I love you, Paris! Happy THIRD birthday!!!” The post included a heartwarming photo of Owen hugging his daughter, and a few other photos of the birthday girl.
It’s also a big day for Owen as he releases his latest single, “1x1.” He played a preview of it in a video he shared to Instagram on Thursday night (April 28). Owen, who recently announced his nationwide 34-city tour, thanked songwriters Luke Laird, Josh Miller and “the queen” Hillary Lindsey: “And for that matter, thank YOU to every songwriter in Nashville that has ever given me a chance to sing your words, and be a messenger of your brilliance. I’m just a guy that loves country music with all my heart and I am forever grateful to be able to be a part of this community. Also, thank you [Joey Moi] for making me better. Year after year, song after song, 1x1. Appreciate you pal.”
