Lee Brice is celebrating a major accomplishment this week… The “Memory I Don't Mess With” singer earned the Artist-Writer of the Year award at the 2022 AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) awards. Other big-name country artists nominated in the category included Jimmie Allen, HARDY, Morgan Wallen, Ryan Hurd and Walker Hayes. Brice took to Instagram to express his appreciation for the award, writing:

“Artist-Writer of the Year.. Man, what can I say? This is such an honor. To be recognized for your work is always great but when it comes from your peers and folks who truly champion for artists and songwriters behind the scenes, well it's just something special. I want to thank everyone who has supported me from the start and I hope to keep making music that we can be proud of.”

Big winners of the night also included HARDY (Songwriter of the Year), “Sand In My Boots” (Song of the Year — recorded by Wallen and written by HARDY, Josh Osborne and Ashley Gorley), Kobalt (Publisher of the Year), and “Younger Me,” (Publisher’s Pick of the Year — recorded by Brothers Osborne and written by John and TJ Osborne and Kendall Marvel), among others.
