Happy birthday, Chris Stapleton! The award-winning country giant is celebrating his 44th birthday on Friday (April 15). Stapleton is celebrating at the heels of several award wins — including sweeping all three of his categories at the GRAMMY Awards this month: Best Country Solo Performance (“You Should Probably Leave”), Best Country Song (“Cold”), and Best Country Album (Starting Over) — and ahead of some added “All-American Road Show” dates with a star-studded list of special guests (that list includes Dwight Yoakam, Elle King, The Highwomen, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson & Friends and others).
Stapleton has been raking in the awards for his album Starting Over and songs like “You Should Probably Leave,” “Starting Over,” “Cold” and other hit songs. He delivers countless soulful performances, and even offered a word of advice to anyone looking to start over: “Every so often, in our lives, we are presented with moments and choices, and some of them are easy choices to make, you know, opportunities or things like that. But, others are not so easy ones, and we are forced to pull up our bootstraps and march along. ...The cool thing that I find in this song is that it is written from a perspective of hope. There is some light, even if you can't see it.”
