LeAnn Rimes posted a powerful throwback on Instagram on Thursday (March 31), passionately singing a stunning rendition of “Outrageous Love” — and it was a “workout!!” Rimes shared the video of her singing the song, which appeared on her 2016 album Remnants, as she seemingly hinted at something in the works. She wrote in her caption: “this video and @tobygadmusic jamming away at the desk makes my heart so happy. new music just might be coming your way next month, so go re-listen to #remnants to get you in the mood… 😉this song is a workout!!”
If there's new music on the way, it's coming as Rimes is celebrating 25 years as a recording artist. The “One Way Ticket” singer is commemorating the milestone with a CMT Crossroads special, featuring Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Brandy Clark and Mickey Guyton, who will perform some of Rimes’ biggest hits with her. CMT Crossroads: LeAnn Rimes & Friends is set to premiere on Thursday, April 14. But before then, Rimes has already shared a sneak peek from CMT Crossroads, as she teams up with Pearce and McBryde for a performance of “One Way Ticket.” Rimes said in the comments that she was “so honored to share the stage with these powerful women.” Watch her sing “Outrageous Love” here:
