CMT revealed the first round of artists set to perform at the 2022 CMT Music Awards, and the star-studded list includes Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Luke Combs and more. The show is set to air live from Nashville starting at 8 p.m. on April 11.
So far, fans can expect performances from Ballerini, Brown, Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell with Lainey Wilson and Keith Urban. Ballerini is also set to return as a co-host the show, this time with Captain America actor Anthony Mackie. Although the show is set to air for the first time on CBS (as well as live-stream and on-demand on Paramount+), CMT will air an extended cut of the show with an additional 30 minutes of performances and other bonus content on April 15, CMT announced on Tuesday morning (March 22). The extended show will premiere at 8 p.m. that night and continue until 11:30 p.m. ET.
Fan voting is open and general voting runs through April 4 at 10 a.m. ET, according to CMT. Here’s the full list of nominees for the 2022 CMT Music Awards:
