Maren Morris Says Her Son Got Her 'Awful' Eyesight As He Gets First Glasses

Maren Morris feels “awful” for passing her eyesight down to her son — but at least he looks adorable in his new glasses. The “Circles Around This Town” singer tweeted that her son Hayes, who is nearly 2, needed glasses “and he looks so cute but I also feel awful that I passed my awful eyesight onto him.”

Morris also said on her Instagram story that, to help Hayes get used to his new glasses, “the entire household is now wearing fake frames (I have lasik) to inspire him to keep them on. It’s not working so far lol.” Morris and her husband, fellow country singer-songwriter Ryan Hurdwelcomed their son on March 23, 2020.

Fellow parents were quick to respond on Twitter with sweet photos of their own young children wearing glasses for the first time, helping the country singer-songwriter feel better about passing down her imperfect eyesight to her son. See Morris’ tweet here:
