Leighton Grace Kerr is finally home!

Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Kerr and her husband Josh Kerr took to Instagram with an adorable new photo of their daughter to announce that she’s coming home on Friday (March 11). The sweet announcement comes after Leighton Grace spent more than 50 days in the NICU. The post shows Leighton sleeping soundly, donning a pink bow and covered (just for the photo) with a blanket that has her name on it. Taylor and Josh captioned:

“After 53 days in the NICU our sweet Leighton Grace Kerr came home today. We have been blown away by all of the support and can’t thank you enough for praying her home. We were also blessed with so many amazing NICU nurses and staff along the way 🙏 // PS the blanket was taken off of her right after the picture was taken #safesleep💜

Leighton Grace was due in spring, the Kerrs said when they announced the pregnancy in November, but she arrived early. The Kerrs announced on social media that they welcomed their daughter on January 17. From Day 1, she was “beautiful, strong and everything we have ever dreamed of. she decided to be a Capricorn like her daddy. we already can’t wait for the day we get to finally take her home 💜,” the first-time parents announced at the time. Leighton Grace was born at 2 pounds, 5 ounces, photos showed. See the latest picture here:
