Last call!

Alan Jackson is hitting the road on a new tour that will pull together more than three decades of hit country songs. The “Last Call: One More for the Road” Tour marks the first one since Jackson revealed last fall that he has a chronic inherited neuropathy condition that impacts his muscle function and balance. The three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year will bring his tour to cities where he hasn’t stopped in several years — for the last time, according to a press release announcing his tour.

“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could,” Jackson said in a statement. “I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow,” he said, adding with a smile, “I’ll try to do as much as I can, but if I’m comin’ your way, come see me….”

Tickets to shows in most cities go on sale on Friday (March 18). The press release notes that $1 from ever ticket will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization that aims to fund research for drug development. See the “Last Call: One More for the Road” Tour dates below:
