Chase Rice is raising a glass to mark the opening of his new bar. The country artist unveiled Welcome To The Farm, located in “the heart of Cleveland’s Flats East Bank,” and performed of some of his biggest songs at an exclusive opening on Wednesday night (March 2). Welcome To The Farm brings a piece to Tennessee to Ohio, at 1054 Old River Rd. in Cleveland. The public grand opening is set for Friday (March 4) and Saturday (March 5).
Rice previously explained that because his dad is from Grove City, the Buckeye State has “always been a very special place to me.” He continued in a statement around the time he announced the bar in October: “Not only is Ohio special to me as an artist and because of my dad’s connection to the area, but Cleveland itself is also a really inspiring city as a musician. It’s awesome to know that we’ll be just a mile down the road from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which is home to people like The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, Tom Petty and so many more who have all had a huge impact on my career.”
Rice is one of many artists included in the star-studded lineup of the Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this September. Avril Lavigne, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lauv, Chlöe, Willow, Latto, Carly Pearce, GAYLE and Lauren Spencer-Smith are also set to perform. Find more information — including how to get tickets — here.
