The Academy of Country Music Awards show is just around the corner, and Hillary Scott of Lady A can’t wait to see the night’s highly-anticipated host. Dolly Parton is hosting the 57th ACM Awards — alongside co-hosts and reigning New Female and New Male Artists of The Year Gabby Barrett and Jimmie Allen — promising “we’re going to have some fun” at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Scott knows that “there’s no greater icon than Dolly,” and knows that the legendary “9 to 5” singer will “do a great job” hosting the ACMs. Scott said in a recent statement shared by Lady A’s record label:

“I think it is absolutely incredible. And as excited as I think everyone is that the ACMs are back in Vegas and together, the fact that Dolly is hosting, it just kinda takes it over the top. And I can’t wait to hear how she just delivers these amazing little quips and always pokes fun at herself and other people. I mean, there’s no greater icon than Dolly, and I just think that she’s gonna do a great job.”

Lady A is nominated in the Group of the Year category, alongside Little Big Town, Midland, Old Dominion and The Cadillac Three. The night is packed with performances by Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton and plenty more to fill out the star-studded list. The ACM Awards will livestream commercial-free on Prime Video beginning at 8 p.m. EST on Monday, March 7.
