Iconic country trio The Chicks are hitting the road on a new tour in 2022, stopping in dozens of cities nationwide. The group — Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Robinson — announced their highly-anticipated The Chicks Tour on Monday morning (February 28).
The Chicks have won 13 GRAMMY Awards and launched to global superstardom in their decades-long career, packed with hits like “Wide Open Spaces,” “Ready to Run,” “Goodbye Earl,” “Cowboy Take Me Away,” “Landslide,” “Not Ready To Make Nice,” “Gaslighter” and plenty others. The summer tour is set to kick off in June at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre STL in St. Louis, Missouri, and wrap up in August at The Gorge in George, Washington.
Award-winning singer-songwriter Patty Griffin is set to join The Chicks on most tour dates, and indie-rock artist Jenny Lewis will perform on six special dates, according to a press release announcing the tour. The release also notes that The Chicks will partner with environmental nonprofit, REVERB.org to help encourage sustainability. See tour dates below:
