Little Big Town Album Reaches 5-Year Milestone

Little Big Town is marking a big moment for one of their albums. The Breaker was released five years ago, on February 24, 2017. The country quartet’s eighth studio album included the title track, “Better Man” (written by Taylor Swift), and other fan-favorites.

“Music is a healer and milestones are worth celebrating. Happy 5 years to The Breaker,” Little Big Town shared on Instagram on Thursday (February 24) as they celebrated the anniversary of the album. Last month, the group — made up of Karen FairchildKimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook — also marked the second anniversary of Nightfall. That album released in January 2020 with “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” and other tracks.

Little Big Town is gearing up to hit the road with Miranda Lambert this year, kicking off a new era of “The Bandwagon Tour” in 15 cities. The highly-anticipated tour had a successful run in 2018, and now, the co-headliners are bringing it back with new dates starting in May. The next installment will also include special guests, The Cadillac Three. Little Big Town said last month they’ve “been dying to share this news!
