Dan + Shay are showing fans their love and appreciation this Valentine's Day in the sweetest way! The country duo surprised a number of fans with a special delivery of donuts from Krispy Kreme on Sunday (February 14).
As the sweet treats arrived, several fans turned to social media to share snapshots of the donuts and thank the duo for the gift.
"Y'all @DanAndShay sent me Valentine's Day donuts from Krispy Kreme today. I'm so glad they exist," one fan wrote, alongside a photo of a dozen heart-shaped donuts and a note that says, "Hey holly! happy valentine's day! we're so glad you exist. Love, Dan + Shay."
"On Valentine's Day 2015, @DanAndShay surprised me with this beautiful bouquet of flowers! Fast forward six years later + they surprised me w/ a box of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme," another fan wrote, sharing a photo of the flowers from 2015 and the donuts from this year. "You guys are so thoughtful! You made my day + I’m so #gladyouexist!"
Dan + Shay's new song, "Glad You Exist" arrived earlier this month. Just ahead of the release, the duo shared a message on social media explaining what the song means to them.
"It's a message of gratitude and hope. A message to everyone in our lives: our fans, our friends, our families, to remind them all how grateful we are to be on the planet at the same time," they wrote. "It's truly remarkable when you think about it. We've spent the majority of the past year, like many others, searching for answers and a sense of normalcy, but finding comfort in memories of better days (that we all know will return soon)."
"Concerts, bonfires, road trips with friends, even the simple things like date night at a restaurant, or beers at a bar during a football game," they continued. "This song has taken on a new meaning not being able to see our loved ones in person, but throughout history, music has always had a special way of bringing people together, even when we are furthest apart."
"These words hold a special place in our hearts, and hopefully, they will in yours too," they added. "We've said it before, and we'll say it again (and again). We're just so glad you exist. Every. Single. One of you."
