Blake Shelton's Ole Red Orlando To Officially Open This Month

Blake Shelton's Ole Red Orlando To Officially Open In June

Blake Shelton's new Ole Red restaurant and bar venue in Orlando, Florida will officially open on June 19. The country star turned to social media to share the news with fans.

"My birthday is June 18, but Ole Red Orlando is opening June 19, that's way more important," Shelton says in a video announcement. "You guys have gotta come see us."

He continues on to explain that the music situation for opening night will depend on what the phase is of the reopening of the state. However, Shelton assures fans that no matter what the restrictions are, "we're going to party."

The original opening date for Ole Red Orlando was in April, but the coronavirus pandemic pushed everything back.

Shelton's new Orlando location is his fourth Old Red location. The original Ole Red opened in 2017 is located in the singer's hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Since then, Shelton has expanded to Nashville in 2018 and Gatlinburg, Tennessee in 2019.

Shelton worked with Ryman Hospitality Properties on the new Orlando-based Ole Red, which is located in Icon Park on International Drive, just up the street from Disney World. The two-story structure is over 17,000-square-feet and accommodates around 500 people.

Similar to his other Ole Red locations, the venue will feature live music as well as indoor and outdoor private event areas. Additionally, the Orlando spot will offer a view of the Orlando Eye, a large Ferris wheel overlooking the city.

"We've brought Ole Red to some of my favorite places, and I’m excited to have another spot for country music fans to have fun with their friends and family," Shelton says. "I think it's impossible to visit Orlando and not have a good time, and that’s why I know Ole Red is going to fit right in."
