Angels & Airwaves have something up their sleeves, but what is it?
On Thursday (April 25), the band posted a blurry portrait on Twitter with the caption "Back before we were broken-hearted? 04_30" and followed it up with a short clip on Friday (April 26) that seems to tease seven seconds of a new song. The video is simply captioned "04_30"
The logical guess would be that the alt-rockers are gearing up to release new music. It's been nearly five years since they put out The Dream Walker, after all. Frontman Tom DeLonge has also posted numerous photos from inside the studio, making it no secret that the group has been recording music for the past year.

Last April, DeLonge divulged that he was "writing soaring songs" for AVA that "will be a part of an album that will accompany the Strange Times Feature Film." However, it has since been announced his graphic novel will actually be getting adapted for television not the big screen. Did that alter the musical project? Guess we'll have to wait until April 30 to find out. Either way, we can't wait for new music from AVA!
