Carrie Underwood left everything she had on the ACM Awards stage. The country megastar returned for her first performance since her fall Sunday (April 15) at the 53rd annual event. Carrie performed "Cry Pretty" dressed in a black and silver mini-dress. Her makeup mimicked that off the glitter she wore under her eyes in the single's cover art. The ACM Awards crowd, full of fans and Carrie's own country music peers, gave the singer a standing ovation following the performance. Miranda Lambert was among them and tells press backstage she was "worried" about her good friend after her "freak accident" in November."Seeing her stand up there and be so beautiful... And she's one of the greatest singers of all time in any genre of music and can sing me under the table," the Song and Female Vocalist of the Year winner says with a laugh. "I'm just proud of her, and I know how strong she is and how hard she's worked. We've worked for a long time to be here together and carrying torches. I'm just proud of her, and I'm thrilled to call her a friend."Shortly after her performance, Carrie returned to the stage with Keith Urban to accept their win for Vocal Event of the Year for "The Fighter."
