Mark Ronson Reignites Lady Gaga & The Chainsmokers' Feud: Read His Scathing Tweet

Here's the thing with social media, particularly Twitter: with only 140 characters and an endless amount of trolls ready to pounce, it's easy for things to get misconstrued and that's what happened on Saturday (October 29) when Mark Ronson went in on The Chainsmokers over what he perceived as another diss directed at Lady Gaga, following their highly-publicized comment over the pop titan's Ronson-produced single, "Perfect Illusion."

Shortly after their diss went viral, Gaga responded to it with a subtle jab when promoting her follow-up single, "A-Yo," suggesting that the guys might like that song better. It all seemed to come to a halt, but after The Chainsmokers tweeted "We're back" with the middle finger emoji on Saturday, Ronson assumed they were starting things up with Mother Monster once again, so he hit back and he hit back hard.

"Back to being the charisma-bypassed champions of 2 bar Ableton loops? Well, smash it while it lasts, fellas!!" he wrote alongside a link to a financial safety investment article called "7 Safest, Low-Risk Investments for Your Money."

The Chainsmokers responded to the diss with complete naivety, letting the super-producer know that their tweet had absolutely nothing to do with Gaga. Cue the awkward silence. Unfortunately, the EDM duo will likely cross paths with the pop titan as they're both scheduled to perform at the forthcoming 2016 American Music Awards, so we'll see what happens there. Stay tuned!
