Eric Church brought singer-songwriter and musician Marcus King on stage for a powerful performance over the weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.

The powerful moment happened during one of the chief’s most recent stops on his headlining “Free the Machine Tour” on Saturday (October 11). It was the last show that King would be on the road with Church. Church shared the video of the duo's soulful renditions of King’s “Delilah” and his own “Mistress Named Music” on Cleveland’s Rocket Arena stage on Wednesday (October 15).

Church recently announced his “Free the Machine Tour” will continue in 2026 with Caylee HammackElla Langley49 WinchesterStephen Wilson Jr.Kashus Culpepper and Ashley McBryde on select dates. The “Free the Machine Tour” kicked off after Church released his latest studio album, Evangeline vs. The Machine.

“I believe in that time-tested tradition of making records that live and breathe as one piece of art,” Church said when Evangeline vs. The Machine made its debut. “An album is the ultimate creative expression, and the way we consume art now just takes the edges off that creativity. It’s built to confine it, to choke it out. With this record, it’s really my way of fighting for the creative spirit, that spirit of ‘Evangeline.’ Because I know that where we are in the world, it probably shouldn’t exist. But it does. It can live here. It can run free here. And, the best music has to fight the hardest to get out.”
