Reba McEntire teamed up with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman on the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards stage on Sunday evening (September 14) at The Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The trio of country stars performed the Golden Girls theme song on a re-creation of the show’s iconic set, which included a photo of the beloved cast members. Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty played “four previously married women (who) live together in Miami, sharing their various experiences together and enjoying themselves despite hard times,” IMDb’s description reads of the classic comedy. Golden Girls debuted in 1985, and concluded in 1992. McEntire's performance with Fairchild and Schlapman celebrated the 40th anniversary of the sitcom's premiere.

McEntire — who confirmed on the red carpet that she’s engaged to her boyfriend of five years, Happy’s Place co-star Rex Linn — and the Little Big Town artists weren’t the only country artists to perform during the star-studded show. Grammy-winning vocalists Vince Gill and Lainey Wilson delivered a moving rendition of Gill’s “Go Rest High On That Mountain” for the in memoriam tribute, honoring late legends in TV and entertainment. Nashville, Tennessee-based comedian Nate Bargatze hosted the 2025 Emmys. See the full list of winners here, and watch the Golden Girls tribute below.
