Jordan Davis kept score against heartache in the newly-premiered “Bar None” video that arrived on Wednesday (July 9).
Davis released the Paul DiGiovanni-produced single earlier this year. Hunter Phelps, Lydia Vaughn and Ben Johns teamed up to write the anthem, which will appear on the award-winning artist’s next album.
“Bar none/ Now I’m getting goner than your long gone boots/ Nothing I’m working on works on you/ I’ve been breaking every bottle open/ Doing what a banged up broken heart does/ Gonna need three or four more/ Baby if moving on had a scoreboard/ It’d say you and your memory, one/ Me and this bar, none”
Davis, who recently welcomed Baby No. 4 with wife Kristen Davis, includes “Bar None” on Learn The Hard Way. His 17-track studio record is due to arrive on August 15. So far, Davis has also released “In Case You Missed It,” “Jesus Wouldn’t Do,” the title track, “I Ain’t Sayin’” and “Know You Like That” from the project. Watch Davis’ new P. Tracy-directed music video here, and see his upcoming tour dates below.
