Jelly Roll brought actor and comedian Kevin James — dressed as the Beautifully Broken artist’s lookalike, apart from the tattoos — on stage at the Buckeye Country Superfest in Columbus, Ohio.
James, 60, matched Jelly Roll’s wardrobe when he surprised the audience at the festival on Saturday night (June 21). TikTokers have since shared the moment the King of Queens star joined Jelly Roll, 40, to perform “Need a Favor,” which the reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Artist of the Year released on his debut country record, Whitsitt Chapel. The 2023 album also included “Halfway to Hell,” “Save Me” with Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, and more. Other artists who took the stage at Buckeye Country Superfest include Kane Brown, Megan Moroney, Treaty Oak Revival, Dasha Vincent Mason.
This is James’ most recent team-up with a country artist. Earlier this year, he appeared in the music video for “Nobody Likes Your Girlfriend,” a collaboration between Nate Smith and HARDY. Smith, 39, said in a recent interview with iHeartCountry that he “decided on a whim” to ask James whether he would appear in the video. James “literally got on a plane and flew the next day. Now we’re just hanging out a ton and FaceTiming,” Smith said. “He’s such a good human being.”
Jelly Roll is part of the star-studded lineup of the genre-spanning iHeartRadio Music Festival presented to Capital One, which is slated to return later this year to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two-day festival will also include performances by Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran, Feid, GloRilla, John Fogerty, Justice, Lil Wayne, LL COOL J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Sammy Hagar, Tate McRae, The Offspring, Tim McGraw and more to be announced.
The 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival will take place on September 19 and 20.
