Tim McGraw showed his support for his daughter as she unveiled her newest ballad on Friday (June 20).
Audrey McGraw, 23, released “Purple Flowers,” which she wrote with Kyle Emerson Miller. The David Baron-produced track follows McGraw’s previously-released singles “Speak,” “Thunder” and “I Am…I Said,” a cover of Neil Diamond’s early 1970s classic.
“Every kind of broken/ Every time you leave/ I wonder where you’re going/ I want you here with me/ Caught up in the hours/ Watching purple flowers/ Drifting through the day”
The “Purple Flowers” singer-songwriter is the youngest daughter of country icons Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, along with sisters Maggie McGraw, 26, and Gracie McGraw, 28. The three McGraw daughters recently joined their dad on stage at the first Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo in Nashville, Tennessee. McGraw said as she shared a clip on Instagram it was a “special moment for us” to share as a family. She also said last month she was “speechless, truly” to join Grammy winner Brandi Carlile’s “The Lost Time Tour” as a special guest on international dates. McGraw will take the stage on Friday (June 20) in London, England. See the tour stops here. Listen to “Purple Flowers” below.
