Kane Brown took a running leap into a pool fully clothed to kick off the summer.
“Who's ready for summer, man? Let’s go!” Brown exclaimed as he took a running start (and “hurt my ankle”) to leap into the pool wearing a white tank top, jeans, a ball cap and boots. He followed the clip with a sneak peek of his soon-to-release summer anthem, “2 Pair.”: “I tell ‘em give me 2 pair of Luccheses/ All white shirt and some boot cut jeans/ I go all night, stomping’ to the beat/ I just got a check, blew it all on my feet like/ Ooh, ooh/ Ain’t sh*t you can tell me/ I feel like Nelly/ Give me 2 pair of Luccheses/ All white shirt and some boot cut jeans, yeah.”
Brown admitted at the end of the clip, “that hurt” doing a “back flop” into the pool, and hoped to “make my video go viral.”
Brown’s summer anthem follows The High Road, his fourth studio record that released earlier this year. The 18-track album includes “Fiddle In The Band,” “Backseat Driver,” “Miles On It” with Marshmello, “Haunted” with Jelly Roll, “I Can Feel It,” and two new duets with his wife, Katelyn Brown, after the married duo debuted their award-winning 2022 ballad, “Thank God.” Brown also released another version of the project’s “Says I Can” in January. “The High Road Tour Version” includes tour mates Mitchell Tenpenny, Scotty McCreery, Ashley Cooke and Dasha.
“My summer starts this Friday 6/13,” Brown announced with his sneak peek on Sunday (June 8). Watch it here (warning: language).
