Luke Combs shared a sneak peek of his soon-to-release collaboration on Wednesday (May 21).
Combs will team up with singer-songwriter Jon Bellion on “WHY,” a song the two artists teased on their social media accounts earlier this week. Commenters on TikTok and Instagram said the genre-blending collaboration “was not on my 2025 bingo card but I am not mad,” called it “the collab we never knew we needed,” and said they’re “mentally preparing to have this on repeat,” among others.
Combs and Bellion shared a new sneak peek of their unreleased collaboration on Wednesday, and confirmed the song’s release date. The new sneak peek shows the two artists recording the ballad together with footage of Bellion with his kids.
Most recently, Combs, a father of two young sons, released a collaboration with fellow country artist Bailey Zimmerman. His latest full studio album is Fathers & Sons, a heartfelt record that serves as a tribute to his life as a father. Combs recently shared an update for fans amid a step back from touring to spend time with his family. Rest assured, however, he “will be doing a headline tour next year and I am actively working on new music,” he confirmed.
“WHY” will release on Friday (May 23). Listen to the sneak peek here:
