Megan Moroney said she has “regrets” after seeing Keith Urban at her headlining show in Nashville, Tennessee.
Moroney took the stage for two sold-out, back-to-back nights at a newly-opened venue, The Pinnacle, in Nashville on her 2025 “Am I Okay? Tour.” She performed on Wednesday (April 9) and Thursday (April 10) nights. The reigning Country Music Association New Artist of the Year is playing an electrifying run of shows after releasing her sophomore studio record, Am I Okay?, and its deluxe edition last year. Sticking with the trend she set for herself with her powerful debut era, Lucky, Moroney defines Am I Okay? with a signature color: blue.
“I forgot to tell Keith Urban that blue IS my color,” Moroney wrote in her caption on TikTok on Friday (April 11). “I have regrets.”
The Georgia-born country star, of course, cleverly nodded to Urban’s heartfelt ballad, “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” It’s one of 18 tracks that released on Urban’s ninth studio record, Ripcord, in 2016, along with “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Wasted Time,” “The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood, “Break on Me” and more.
Moroney shared a photo with Urban on her Instagram story on Friday to thank the “Somebody Like You” icon for attending her sold-out show on Thursday evening. Urban reshared the photo to applaud the Emo Cowgirl’s performance. He said it’s “very cool to hear a sold out crowd singing every single word of every song you’ve written,” he wrote on Instagram.
In the midst of her headlining tour, Moroney is also part of the star-studded lineup of the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival, which is slated to take place on Saturday, May 3. The festival, hosted by iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones, will return to Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Other artists in the lineup include Brooks & Dunn, Cole Swindell, Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Bailey Zimmerman and Nate Smith.
Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed exclusively to all Hulu subscribers at no additional cost. Additional information about the livestream will be posted across Hulu’s platform and social media channels.
