Miranda Lambert is marking the 20th anniversary of her debut studio album, Kerosene, this month.

The powerhouse singer-songwriter shared a throwback clip on her social media accounts on Monday (March 3). It opens with Lambert telling an audience, “this is a song I wrote when I was really upset. So I wouldn’t recommend making me mad. I don’t look scary, but I am.” That intro is followed by glimpses of Lambert’s performances and a snippet of the “Kerosene” music video, including some iconic fiery moments.

“This month is the 20th anniversary of my Kerosene album release and we’re gonna celebrate y’all! Stay tuned…🔥,” Lambert wrote in her caption on Instagram. “PS: I still don’t recommend making me mad.”

Kerosene launched the megastar’s career when the album made its debut in March 2005. Lambert went on to become known for “The House That Built Me,” “Gunpowder & Lead,” “White Liar,” “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Wranglers” and other career-spanning hits. Most recently, she released Postcards From Texas, a 14-track studio record that serves as a nod to her home state. She recently premiered a cinematic Western video for “Run,” a vulnerable track on the album that Lambert wrote about a decade earlier. Watch it here.
