Brett Eldredge fulfilled a longtime dream when he wrapped up his latest holiday tour on Friday evening (December 20) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The country singer-songwriter frequently known as Mr. Christmas closed his headlining “GLOW Tour” with a packed headlining show at Bridgestone Arena. Headlining the massive venue has been a longtime dream for Eldredge, who reminisced on performing “about everywhere in this town” as he worked to build his career as an artist since moving to Music City nearly two decades ago. Eldredge shared in a heartfelt caption on Instagram over the weekend:

“I moved to Nashville in 2006, I was just an eager college kid that knew nothing about the music business other than that I loved to sing and I dreamt of finding a way of doing that for a living one day…I learned slowly how to write songs, and started running to every little songwriter bar and club to play and sing for anyone that was willing to listen…I have played about everywhere in this town but always wandered by the Giant Arena on broadway, wondering if it would be possible to one day headline a show there…the journey took me many different directions, ups, downs and sideways, you name it, I’ve felt it…with the help of lots of amazing fans that have continued to stick by my side, family, friends and my faithful team of music dreamers, we got to headline [Bridgestone Arena] on what ended up being one of the most special nights of my life…I cried, I laughed and most of all, I felt love like never before…I am beyond grateful…what a special tour, what magnificent night, I love you all ❤️😊”

Eldredge has become known for his holiday shows and the Christmas music he’s released throughout his career. Most recently, Eldredge debuted Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family), an 8-track record that includes the new Kelly Clarkson duet that the pair performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show this month.
