Carrie Underwood To Appear In Nashville Comedian's Upcoming Holiday Special

Carrie Underwood is making a special guest appearance in a Nashville, Tennessee-based comedian’s Christmas special this week.

Underwood’s team shared two photos from the upcoming holiday show on the country star’s Instagram account on Monday (December 16). Underwood, appearing on stage in a stunning red dress, will make a guest appearance in Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas on Thursday (December 19).

Nate Bargatze’s one-hour holiday variety show will also include appearances by Saturday Night Live stars Mikey Day and Ashley Padilla, plus comedian Derrick Stroup, the Tennessee Titans, and artists Noah Kahan, Martina McBride, Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker and Underwood. The show marks Bargatze’s first primetime special. It was filmed at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, per a CBS press release announcing Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas. Bargatze will include “a mix of stand-up comedy, pre-taped comedy shorts, sketches and musical performances,” and “shine a spotlight on the spirit of the city during the holiday season, highlighting family, fun and feel-good moments for audiences of all ages,” the release states.

Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas is slated to air on CBS on Thursday, December 19 from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
